Come join Palo Alto Networks as a SOC Ambassador on the Information Security team. As a member of the Security Operations Center (SOC) group within InfoSec, you’ll be our outspoken representative who communicates our compelling SOC approach and vision with external visiting SOC leaders.

SOC leaders from all over the world visit Palo Alto Networks SOC to see how a security company runs it own security operations center. At Palo Alto Networks, we “sip our own champagne” by protecting our global organization with the innovative security products that we build and sell to our customers. Our SOC is designed to empower small teams of security analysts to do far more than larger, more traditional or legacy SOCs.
You will show them first hand how we do it, and explain our philosophy and technology behind our approach. This is a unique role that requires a combination of story-telling, an understanding of the security industry, humbleness, intelligence and wit to really nail it.
With your passion for talking about security technology, coupled with your desire to connect with SOC leaders of all levels, you will join a team of highly motivated security professional at the fastest growing security company in history.
- Ownership of customer briefings in the best-in-class Security Operations Center (SOC) within the Executive Briefing Center (EBC) at Palo Alto Networks.
- Lead compelling briefings about our SOC philosophy and use of security technology with prospective and current SOC customers of all levels, including C-level executives
- Continually evolve our SOC story as our company grows and adapts
- Collaborate directly with internal stakeholders within Palo Alto Networks to communicate our story internally
- Solid experience in a role with a customer facing component
- Knowledge in some sector of the information security industry a PLUS
- Excellent storyteller, without sounding “sales-y”
- Conversational understanding of the security industry
- You love to connect with people as interested in security as they are
- Experience working in an expo booth for a technical company a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- US Citizen
