AP Systems Analyst

We are looking to add an experienced procure to pay (PTP) business analyst to our team. This role is critical to the Accounting organization’s success as the company continues to rapidly grow and disrupt the network security industry. A successful candidate will have the ability to drive impactful change and scaling by leading global accounts payable project implementations, enhancements, cross functional partnering, and further drive efficiencies to our global Accounts Payable operations through process optimization and standardization initiatives.

Job Description:

  • Super-user of SAP PTP processes, specifically among the accounts payable module;
  • Super-user of the accounts payable invoicing tool (OpenText Vendor Invoice Management);
  • Participate and drive global AP related projects and initiatives while partnering closely with AP processors and regional AP team (experience in a Coupa/Ariba environment is a plus);
  • Drive resolution of system/process issues by identifying, testing, and implementing enhancements, perform regular maintenance and assess requests for feasibility and scope of solutions to SAP AP and OpenText VIM;
  • Quickly understand business needs and translate into solutions, including identifying opportunities for process and system improvements
  • Understand accounts payable integration points between various SAP modules, systems and business processes;
  • Partner closely with information technology team on projects and participate in regular status meetings;
  • Partner closely with regional accounts payable teams to drive maintenance and enhancements of AP related initiatives
  • Partner and maintain strong relationships with internal customers such as employees, FP&A, procurement, and receiving personnel;
  • Document procedures and disseminate training to local and regional team members including new team-members;
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining AP metrics for monthly and quarterly reporting using BI HANA utilizing Tableau;
  • Act as the backup in the absence of the Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the accounts payable processes and controls;
  • Perform special projects and ad-hoc requests;
  • Maintain strong communication both written and oral amongst internal and external customers across all management levels

 Job Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Business Administration (preferably Accounting) is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of PTP business analyst experience at large company (technology industry preferred)
  • Advanced MS Office experience (with strong skills using Excel)
  • Capable of creative solutioning and thinking outside of standard processes and system design
  • Ability to independently manage multiple competing demands
  • Be accountable for the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of own work
  • Knowledge of standard accounts payable policies, procedures and regulations
  • Understanding of basic accounting
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers
  • Adaptable to using new systems and tools
  • SAP, OpenText, required
  • JIRA, Hana and Tableau experience is a plus
  • Experience working in a Coupa/Ariba/S4Hana environment is a plus
