The PagerDuty Insights team focuses on enabling our customers to most effectively leverage our platform to achieve their business goals. We partner with our key customers to provide large scale onboarding; custom integrations, service modeling, and provisioning users, teams, services, schedules, and escalation policies. Our Digital Insights Operational Maturity subscription service provides customers with rich human factors analytics combined with monthly review and recommendations meetings.

\t\t\t\t\t\tOur Expert Services team is responsible for rapid onboarding, Operations Health optimization, and custom development for our key customers through:

    Integrating existing systems which PagerDuty supports

    \t\t\t\t\t\t\t
  • \t\t\t\t\t\t\t
    Auditing and providing recommendations for improvement for customer's Operations

    \t\t\t\t\t\t\t
  • \t\t\t\t\t\t\t
    Consultation and implementation regarding optimal use of the PagerDuty platform

The Expert Services Project Manager is responsible for managing our large projects (mid market and enterprise customer accounts) from inception to completion. This position serves as liaison between the company and client in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met and that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

    Sets and manages client expectations

    Communicates effectively with clients to identify project goals, objectives and risks and evaluate alternative business solutions

    Creates and executes project work plans, defining scope, schedule and budget, and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

    Sets up/attends weekly meetings

  • \t\t\t\t\t\t\t
    Facilitates meetings with sponsors and/or stakeholders

    Manages project team to ensure deliverables are produced on time and meet quality standards

    Responsible for change management / work orders

    Produces or oversees project reporting and dashboards on budget, resources, percent complete, decisions, issues and risks

    Manages and monitors project through all phases, while managing stakeholder expectations

  • \t\t\t\t\t\t\t
    Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations

    Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change

Position Requirements:

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Project Management

    \t\t\t\t\t\t\t
  • \t\t\t\t\t\t\t
    Demonstrated experience using standard project management methodology (agile and waterfall)

    \t\t\t\t\t\t\t
  • \t\t\t\t\t\t\t
    Excellent verbal communication skills, to include the ability to quickly summarize progress on a particular project for high level leaders

    \t\t\t\t\t\t\t
  • \t\t\t\t\t\t\t
    Excellent written communication skills, to include the ability to quickly summarize status on any project

    \t\t\t\t\t\t\t
  • \t\t\t\t\t\t\t
    Mastery of skills related to document preparation, such as reports and deliverables is expected

    \t\t\t\t\t\t\t
  • \t\t\t\t\t\t\t
    Initiative to complete tasks with little to no follow-on guidance

    Bachelor's Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience

    PMP certification preferred
