Senior Director, Business Development & Alliances, DevOps and IT Ops

As the Senior Director, Business Development & Alliances, DevOps and IT Ops, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and operationalizing high-impact strategic partnerships and alliances with DevOps and IT Ops vendors (e.g., IT Service Management, Ticketing, Application Performance Management & IT Monitoring, Logging & Analytics, DevOps Automation). Reporting to the SVP Business Development & Corporate Strategy, you will manage our partnership business plans for DevOps and IT Ops alliances, develop close partner relationships, orchestrate cross-functional execution, and drive business success. 

This is a strategic, high-impact role, focused on building strategic relationships with the DevOps and IT Ops vendors, expanding our integrated offerings and value propositions, driving revenue (ARR) growth through joint go-to-market (e.g., co-marketing, co-sell and field teaming, sell-through business models), and enhancing our market leadership and differentiation in DevOps and IT Ops.  You will collaborate closely cross-functionally with product management, engineering, sales, marketing, operations, etc. to develop alignment and coordinate execution.

How You Contribute to Our Vision: Key Responsibilities

  • Manage our alliance relationships, partnership planning, and operational execution with DevOps and IT Ops vendors
  • Develop close relationships with key stakeholders in the partner organizations
  • Identify and manage opportunities to grow joint business through integrated solution offerings and go-to-market initiatives (e.g., co-marketing, co-sell and field teaming, sell-through business models)
  • Manage partnership agreements and coordinate their execution
  • Manage partnership business planning, including metrics/goals, offerings and solutions integrations, marketing, enablement, sales, etc. with a focus on key priorities for success 
  • Collaborate with PM, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and other teams and ensure alignment
  • Orchestrate and coordinate cross-functional execution for each partnership
  • Track and report on partnership metrics/goals (e.g., ARR growth, customer adoption), identify improvement opportunities, and drive alignment

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Track record of high performance in prior roles
  • Solid understanding of partnerships and alliances and how they can create value for the business
  • Solid understanding of the DevOps and IT Ops landscape
Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA / Master's degree or additional years of relevant professional experience
  • Proven results in managing strategic partnerships and alliances for significant revenue and business impact 
  • Experience working with DevOps or IT Ops technologies and product integrations (e.g., Atlassian, Splunk, ServiceNow, BMC, New Relic, AppDynamics, Datadog)
  • Experience with infrastructure software
