National Account Manager - Walmart

Role Summary:

The National Accounts Manager is responsible for managing the PBC business with Walmart in an assigned geography. This position serves as a direct point of contact for the Walmart buyer and is sales growth and retail execution focused.

The position is tasked with gaining retail support for company growth objectives by various methods, including, but not limited to: forecasting, planning, conducting sales calls and business reviews, retail trade work-withs, and in market surveys. At various times throughout the year, it may be required to present plans and objectives to senior leadership.

Areas of Responsibility:

Volume, Distribution and F & D Goals

  • Establish & Achieve Aggressive Volume Growth Targets Across PBC Portfolio
  • Drive Total PBC Availability & Physical Distribution
  • Accelerate Features On Priority Brands & Packages
  • Grow ROS Through Increased Visual Inventory & Effective Price (PTC) Management
  • Align and Deliver on Customers JBP Growth Targets for assigned geography

PBC & Wholesaler Communication, Alignment & Execution

  • Deliver Consistent, Timely & Effective Communication
  • Achieve Alignment Through Collaboration & High Level Of Visibility At Both Wholesale & Retail
  • Establish Execution Standards & Provide Tools
  • Prepare & Distribute Wkly/ Monthly Customer Performance Scorecards & Post Promotion Analysis

Skills/Qualifications Required:

  • 5 + years industry experience
  • Walmart / Sam’s Club experience a plus
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Able to travel as required to adequately cover business area
  • Solid presentation skills
  • Strong computer and analytical skills
  • Ability to negotiate with positive outcomes
