Consumer Relations Rep
Summary Reporting to the Team Leader of Consumer Relations, the Consumer Relations Representative establishes and maintains relationships with our consumers through phone, Email, snail mail, and in person communications. Consumer Relations is the VOICE for our consumers and we take this responsibility (but not ourselves) very seriously.
This person must be able to handle a variety of consumer-related responsibilities with diplomacy and aplomb. He/she must have experience working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, be organized, display excellent communication and people skills and maturity in handling business and confidential situations, and be detail-oriented. They must be able to work independently and be willing to perform other administrative duties as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Communicate with consumers on all inquiries and quality issues in a professional and efficient manner.
- Support and maintain our high quality standards by obtaining further details of consumer concerns and/or questions with products and ensuring that the consumer is happy with the resolution.
- Facilitate communication with other departments to provide resolutions for consumers when needed.
- Create and manage Consumer Relations reporting metrics and presentations.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
