Brand Activation Specialist - Tsingtao

Reporting directly to the Brand Director, Tsingtao, the Brand Activation Specialist will be responsible for delivering volume, distribution, and financial goals for the brand; managing retail execution, engaging with frontline distributor sales personnel, driving brand awareness in the local market through selected event activation and other consumer engagement activities, implementing and executing local and national marketing platforms and programs, and evangelizing the brand positioning throughout the entire vertical (distributor-retailer-consumer). Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) will be assigned to the brand as well as expectations of brand growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive retail sales execution and merchandising standards including:
    • Quality distribution
    • Pricing realization
    • Shelf placement and management
    • Display execution
    • POS merchandising
    • Staff education
  • Identify relevant events and other consumer engagement touch points that enhance the visibility of the brand throughout the market
  • Support distributor retail execution and secondary chain call points, where applicable, while working closely with PBC and distributor personnel
  • Collaborate regularly with the local PBC field sales team coordinating brand execution in the market and recapping wins and opportunities for the brand
  • Identify key influencers in the market and develop strong relationships with those people or accounts
  • Utilize social media platforms to drive brand awareness in the local market
  • Work with outside partners (where applicable) to execute sampling activities
  • Manage T&E, field flex, and/or field marketing budgets
  • Complete recaps and reports requested by Brand Director in a timely manner

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience (preferred but not required) supporting brand activities and / or selling and working in a local / grassroots marketing environment. A combination of sales and marketing experience is ideal
  • DSD or beverage experience preferred
  • Chinese language skills strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
