Senior Business Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Understanding the data/system needs for the business and develop integrated MIS systems for creating reports to be presented to management • Creation and maintenance of analytical tools to discover trends and track/analyze operational performance • Providing analysis and work in ad hoc projects to facilitate process improvements and management decision making • Developing a good understanding of the operations/ processes of all relevant departments and provide analytical support as needed Key Result Areas: • Understand business process needs and develop process workflows • Work in conjunction with the other team members in gathering detailed reporting requirements • Deliver all operations reports to management in a timely and accurate manner • Understanding and customization of tools used for various processes • Act as a liaison between various team members, both internal and external • Drive organization-wide initiatives on automation, improved reporting and analysis of operations Mandatory Knowledge and Skills:

Qualification • BE/B-Tech degree from premier colleges (IITs, NITs, BITS, DCE, JU etc.) or MBA from tier 2 colleges (NMIMS, SIBM, XIMB, IIT SOMs, IIFT etc.) with 1-3 years of experience in handling large databases • Highly efficient in using MS Excel (including advanced features like pivot table etc.) • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and independent problem solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong drive to get things done quickly and in strict accordance with standards, rules and policies


• Willingness to work in shifts as per the business needs Preferred Knowledge and Skills: • Working knowledge of T-SQL/PLSQL programming skills, SQL Server, Oracle 10g, MS Access, MS Excel (advanced macros)
