Job Description:
The Operations Manager is responsible for planning and executing process initiatives and Compliance requirements through all stages of Operations lifecycle, from initiation through implementation and control phase.
The scope of this position will include working with multiple REO stake holders to provide required support to our customers and improve business results. This position will required active and assertive leadership qualities, including problem solving, operations management,  improve quality, reduce cost and streamline business processes.

Key Result Areas:
- Lead and / or manage Operations to improve timeliness, profitability, quality and/or control.
- Manage operations and projects related to process improvements and compliance requirement
- Operate with high energy levels, assertive style to lead and / or manage intimate deliverables of an Operations.
- Meet Business unit deliverables on Timelines and scope of Operations.
- Liaise with Business partners to meet client expectations.
- Review processes and procedures to improve timelines and to reduce non-value add work
- Monitor adherence to procedures to ensure costs are controlled and targeted client SLA's are achieved
- Offer complete management oversight to define Operations requirements, priorities and timelines.

   • Assume complete ownership for assigned asset management inventory
• Ensure all milestone related to asset management are met as per the prescribed guidelines and timelines
• Drive operational effectiveness through the entire asset management process by creating whitepapers and training material and driving the same in the operations
• Manage a team of 30+ members and ensure smooth functioning of day to day activities of AFS -REO operations 
• Demonstrate ownership on open deliverables and activities
• Conduct performance appraisals and manage the organizational development for the AFS department including identifying the training requirement for different staff, career patching for the team etc.
• Ensure that AFS delivers product within SLA as regards Turnaround time, Accuracy and Compliance matters
• Daily engagement with the vendor’s network of AFS across the United States on a day to day basis
• Transaction level review of work items outside SLA
• Meet Client expectations on SLA and Timelines
• Manage the accuracy and quality of work performed by the vendors
• Interact effectively within Senior Management and Provide management with timely reports documenting observations during process and/or vendor reviews that identify trends or opportunities for improvement with recommendations 
• Demonstrate continuous effort to identify new avenues of operations and take proactive steps to mitigate any Issues
• Exception and escalation management to devise long term solutions for the business vertical
• Adhere to established AFS department policies & procedures and support audit related activities as required

Qualification/ Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree Required
• Minimum 18 months of continuous service in Altisource which includes minimum 12 months in a Assistant Manager role
• Minimum 3 rating in the last appraisal
• Excellent communication, analytical, interpersonal and team management skills are a must
• Team player with proven ability to lead and drive initiatives through teams for at least two years
• Should have implemented 2 high contribution projects in the last 12 months
• Fast learner with ability to pick up new functional processes and lead and deliver on them very quickly
• Ability to consistently deliver in a high pressure environment
• Keen eye for detail and high degree of urgency
• Must have the ability to handle multiple, simultaneous client projects in a fast paced environment with technical analytical focus based problem solving skills
• Proven ability to improve processes and increase efficiency
• Organization and time management skills: Operates independently with minimal guidance by management
• Ability to mentor team associates in an objective and boundary less manner
• Ability to roll-up sleeves and work alongside any level in the organization is mandatory
• Exposure to financial industry / real estate/ mortgages is a definite plus
• Flexible to work in night/rotational shifts
• Expert knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
• Employee should not be on an active Progressive Disciplinary Plan and/or Performance Improvement Plan in the last 6 months
