WHO ARE YOU

You love energy, dynamism and the challenge of creating a roadmap where none exists.  You seek out opportunities to use your well-honed legal skills to solve problems with your teammates inside and outside of the legal department.  You are a relationship-builder who is curious about all facets of the company you work for.

We are building a world-class legal department focused on providing excellent service to our internal business clients and creating the legal infrastructure that will support Outcome Health as we scale-up rapidly.  We are looking to add a brilliant, business-minded attorney with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in employment law at a top-tier law firm, with additional in-house experience considered a great asset.  While you will certainly use your employment law skills every day, as a small legal department we need lawyers who are not just comfortable, but relish wearing many hats.  We envision this role consisting of 30-50% employment-related work and the rest a mix of commercial contracts, disputes, litigation and IP.  If you have other legal experience you think would be helpful to our start-up legal department, let us know.  There is room here for you to grow and design your dream-job.  You will report directly to the Head of Legal.

This is a fast-paced job for a lawyer who can juggle multiple projects, prioritize and reprioritize as things change and who demonstrates excellent judgment in knowing when to be flexible and when to draw a hard line or escalate an issue.   At the same time, we are looking for people who share our commitment to treating everyone in the Outcome family with kindness, respect and genuine caring.  To thrive you must build relationships across the company based on trust and empathy.  

Qualifications:

  • The ability to meet the needs of a high-growth, fast-paced company;
  • J.D. from top law school;
  • Demonstrated success at top tier firm and/or corporate legal department;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience advising on employment law issues, managing employment-related disputes and litigation, drafting, implementing and monitoring compliance of HR policies;
  • Excellent business and legal judgment.
  • Collaborative leader and strong team player.
