  • Passionate about interaction design and keeping abreast of the latest digital design and technology trends

  • Follow an iterative design process from ideation and sketches to high-fidelity pixel-perfect UI
  • Obtain buy-in and support from key stakeholders early and often
  • Be instrumental in planning & research with Product and Dev to define and drive the direction of the product
  • Manage expectations on effort level and time estimations with Product and Dev teams, and communicate and present progress throughout development
  • Ability to take ownership of a project from the requirements through to the last pixel
  • Comfortable asking questions and owning the discovery and information-gathering for features before jumping into design.
  • Organize & maintain the master files using Sketch symbols and libraries while staying in synch with other designers on the product
  • Define and maintain the aesthetic, voice & tone for visual and interaction design, including color palette, typography, iconography, motion implementation and style
  • Lead or participate in regular design reviews to ensure that the finished product adheres to the design communicated to the engineering team, and be ready to clearly rationalize and justify design work
  • Research-guided problem solving that helps you deliver thoughtful design solutions in the form of sketches, wireframes, prototypes or user journeys
  • Conduct usability testing, analyze user feedback and metrics and iterate on the UX and UI based on findings
  • Understand technical, business, and time limitations, and design within these constraints

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI, Interaction Design, UX, IA, Visual Communications, Visual Design, Product Design or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience designing & prototyping mobile apps and mobile web experiences, preferably within product teams

  • Tools: Expert knowledge in Sketch and Adobe software (Illustrator and Photoshop); Intermediate to expert in Axure, Framer, Principle for Mac, or other interactive prototyping tool
