Job description:
The Business Operations Director, International will report directly to the VP, Business Operations, and serve as the operational extension to the International MD on all operational aspects of the business day-to-day, and maintain operational interface between the MD and reporting country managers. This operational layer will include the responsibility for the following tasks:

  • Sales Operations: Drive business growth through planning and tracking, including tracking and reporting on a solid pipeline, sales progress and results, as well as tracking retention metrics
  • Productivity and Efficiency: Improve sales performance & efficiency
  • Agency deals: Create an efficient deal making and tracking framework, including identifying potential deals, tracking deal performance and deal renewal cycles and syncing finance/legal approval process -SUPPORT execution of agency deals.
  • Operational Excellence: ensure similar processes among the 3 regions (US, EMEA and Japan and APAC and Brazil) and CRO members, including working alongside the Incentive Specialist executing all variable-comp associated tasks and keeping business processes consistent across the globe
  • Working collaboratively with regional managers, finance, legal and HR
  • Execute strict budget management guidelines in order to meet cash contribution targets

Your first year should look like this:
  • In your first month, you should find your bearings, get to know your team, do a deep dive into our products and start to build key relationships internally
  • After three to six months, you will have autonomous ownership of the International Business Operations and will act as the operational point person for the region.
  • By the end of your first year, you’ll be an essential part of the International team, and will align global processes and flows with regional interfaces

Winning factors - we are looking for evidence of:
  • A minimum of 5 years’ digital experience in a brand-direct or even an agency facing role
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of the native, ad-tech, performance marketing and programmatic landscape
  • Clear and concise communication skills and presentation style, for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven track record in a sales or account management role
  • Excellent strategic planning ability and organisational skills
  • A data-driven and analytical mindset
  • Fluency in English is required, fluency in German or other European languages beneficial
