Business Development Manager - Italian Speaker

Outbrain is looking for a top-notch Business Development Manager who will help to grow and retain Outbrain’s Mid tail-market publisher business. This individual will work with the business and account management team helping assess and convert inbound leads, looking for new publishers, assisting in team special projects and initiatives and market analysis. The BD will also take part in prospecting, negotiating and signing new deals.

We’re looking for someone with entrepreneurial instincts, self-motivated who is also a team player that has prior experience in the Digital media/Ad-tech in sales positions working for global companies and specifically has prior experience with sales in EMEA markets.

 A day in the life

  • Process, qualify and administer inbound leads and complete the whole process of signing new deals. 
  • Specifying in sales to the EMEA market
  • Market analysis and research to achieve excellence in reaching potential clients and closing deals. 
  • Work closely with the whole team including other BDs and AMs to ensure the success of the client's pre and post-signing.  
  • Manage presentations, build relationships and negotiate contracts.
  • Taking part in analyzing the client's performance, up-sales, and optimization process.

 

What you’ll bring

  • 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing, technology, or sales roles dealing with EMEA clients.
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and Goal-driven individual, an expert in time-management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a proven ability to monitor, identify and present performance metrics.
  • English and Italian proficiency with excellent written and verbal communication skills - Must!
  • Collaborative; a natural at working inside and across teams in a fast-growth, startup environment.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools.
  • Prior experience in working with ‘Outreach’ or equivalent Sales Engagement Platforms - Advantage.
  • Prior experience in working with SalesForce or equivalent.
