We’ve raised $33.8M in funding, have over 8,000 customers on our platform, and are on pace for 100% revenue growth this year. Our marketing team needs a driven, creative and detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist to help us ramp up revenue generation via intelligent email marketing.

Founded in 2012, OutboundEngine automates email and social media marketing for small businesses by combining a simple, easy-to-use SaaS platform with professionally written and beautifully designed content. Our clients spend less time on marketing and more time serving their customers, and their customers get valuable content that they’re excited to engage with.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, code and execute email marketing programs that drive revenue from multiple audiences:
    • A large (and quickly growing) prospect list
    • Inbound leads from organic and paid sources
    • Current and past customers
    • Enterprise and national accounts
    • Industry outreach partners
  • QA all programs and campaigns with a fanatical attention to detail
  • Build high-conversion landing pages
  • Set up and track programs using Marketo
  • Assist in planning, strategizing and analyzing campaigns/performance
  • A/B test various aspects of campaigns and landing pages
  • Work with multiple stakeholders across departments to meet their email marketing needs
  • Support employee recruiting, events and corporate communications

What We’re Looking For

  • 1-3 years’ experience with email marketing and lead nurturing
  • Intermediate proficiency in HTML, CSS and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience designing, coding and executing email campaigns
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms (particularly Marketo and Salesforce) preferred
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Ability to create limited design assets for email campaigns
  • Ability to think creatively without sacrificing attention to detail
  • A commitment to ongoing learning, testing and improving
  • Positive attitude and flexibility to meet the ever-changing needs of a fast-growing startup

This role reports to the Marketing Manager and will help us dramatically scale our ability to convert leads with smart, targeted email marketing.
