Integrated Behavioral Health Program Supervisor

Hi, we're Oscar Medical Group. We're hiring an Integrated Behavioral Health Program Supervisor to join our Virtual Primary Care team.

About the role

You will function as the clinical leader of and a core member of a collaborative care team that involves the patient's primary care provider, a psychiatric consultant (i.e. psych nurse practitioner) and a behavioral health coordinator (i.e non-licensed coach/case manager) in the primary care clinic. You will focus on the integration of medical and behavioral healthcare for patients, clinical coordination, leading the development and ongoing monitoring of program and quality projects to address patient needs.

You will report to the Medical Director, Primary Care. This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia. Note, this list of states is subject to change. #LI-Remote

The base pay for this role is: $73,600- $96,600 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, annual vacation grant of up to 18 days per year, and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Program Design/ImplementationWork with Medical Director and Leadership Team in strategic direction and planning of program initiatives, including the expansion and scaling of an integrated behavioral health program using licensed and non-licensed staff aligned with the evidence-based AIMS / Collaborative Care model
  • Develop business processes to coordinate behavioral health care between PCPs and referral services
  • Serve as the key resource regarding any issues related to integration in the primary care setting and any operational issues
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in designing and optimizing workflows.
  • Develop best practices for Behavioral Health in a virtual primary care setting
  • Have proficient knowledge of the Behavioral Health contract requirements and coordinate with Oscar Management Corporation to implement those protocols, in adherence with regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Clinical Supervision and OversightLead the hiring and training of Behavioral Health Coordinators, LCSW and Behavioral Therapists
  • Provide weekly clinical supervision and consultation on-demand for the Behavioral Coordinator, including but not limited to clinical skills for patient engagement, follow-up care, relapse prevention, and aftercare
  • Manage and oversee the professional and clinical development of the behavioral health clinical team, including licensed and non-licensed BH staff
  • Direct Patient CareDelivers direct care to a subset of patients enrolled in the integrated behavioral health program
  • Maintain a patient panel composed of the more clinically complicated patients enrolled in the program.
  • Coordinate mental health care with primary care providers and other treating mental health providers.

Qualifications

  • One of the following education degrees and licensure with 3+ years work experience in primary care:
  • Social work (MSW)
  • Psychology (PhD, PsyD)
  • Counseling (LMFT, MHC)
  • Psychiatric Nursing (RN)
  • 3+ years of experience in program management or project/workflow development.
  • Must be licensed in FL, TX, NY, GA, and/or AZ
  • 3+ years of experience leading and developing behavioral health teams in an ambulatory setting, in an integrated behavioral health care setting, or virtual care environment

Bonus Points

  • 1+ years of experience with AIMS/Collaborative Care Model or other integrated models of care
  • 1+ years of experience supervising other professionals or paraprofessionals
  • 1+ years of experience using crisis intervention skills
  • 1+ years of experience working with patients and colleagues virtually
  • 1+ years of experience screening for common mental health or substance use disorders
  • 1+ years of experience using multiple or new tech platforms in a virtual environment

Pay Transparency: 

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
