Optima Tax Relief is a tax resolution (tax representation) firm that helps people solve their IRS tax problems. We work to build relationships with our clients and the IRS alike so we can offer representation to taxpayers with a variety of tax complaints. Our potential clients are in need of a number of services, including but not limited to the following:

  • Help with IRS tax audits
  • Filing past-due tax returns
  • Removing an IRS levy or federal tax lien
  • Setting up tax payment plans
  • Removing wage garnishment
  • Filing an offer in compromise

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Follow Up Associate, you will:

Respond to escalated inquiries from our existing clients and make outbound calls to provide status updates in addition to resolving issues. A minimum of 2 years collections and/or escalated customer service experience is a must. You will be expected to communicate realistic timelines and interact with staff within our Quality Assurance department as well as other departments on a daily basis. This will be a demanding position and exceptional time management and customer service skills will be essential.

As a Follow Up Associate, you will also:

  • Be required to address your assigned client inquiries in a professional manner
  • Interact with Case Managers/Tax Professionals/Management
  • Maintain consistent workflow and a high level of customer service
  • Document detailed case analysis utilizing Company CRM
  • Prioritize case load and assignments
  • Answer/transfer calls and update clients on case status
  • Take on additional tasks and duties as needed

REQUIREMENTS

  • Full-time Position (Monday-Friday different shifts between 7am-6pm)
  • Minimum 2 years of escalated calls and/or collections experience
  • Remain focused and productive in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional Customer Service approach
  • Microsoft Experience

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS

  • Salary: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour (DOE)
