Senior Program Associate

Overview

Position Summary 

Our Senior Program Associates partner with program leaders to deliver operational discipline, delivery excellence and speed to market for their client(s). They should be capable communications professionals able to handle a broad variety of tasks with increasing independence and sound judgment. Additionally, they work with Account Management leaders to apply knowledge about client’s competitive landscape and understand data/business results and their impact. They are trusted to build relationships across all of Ogilvy’s vast resources and capabilities.

Responsibilities

Here’s what you’ll be doing to support Agency and Client growth

  • Establishing relationships with junior clients
  • The key day-to-day program contact with lower to mid-level clients, creative teams and other agency partners
  • Working integrally with all internal team members to facilitate the process of developing great work
  • Basic understanding of staffing and scoping requirements
  • Assistance with program management/workflow system data entry and reporting
  • Recognizing scope changes and elevating to Account Supervisors
  • Managing multiple smaller programs and supporting more senior PM’s on larger programs
  • Working alongside planning and account management leaders to produce simple creative briefs
  • Basic analyses and presentation of client’s business results and competitive landscapes to clients and agency team members
  • Owning project management/workflow system data entry and reporting
  • Understanding & respecting every department’s role within Ogilvy
  • Contributes to the development and presentation of new business programs for potential and existing clients.
  • Assist with new business efforts

Qualifications

Here’s what you’ll bring to the table

  • 1-3 years of industry experience managing “the making” or delivery of great work
  • Ideally, several different account experiences delivering programs in at least 3 different capabilities (B2C, B2B, retail, CPG, digital, tech, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing workflow methods; a strong understanding of program management tools (Trello)
  • Developed skills in research and analysis
  • Demonstrate strong commercial abilities and business and financial acumen
