Senior Consultant, Marketing Analytics

The Senior Consultant, will be responsible for delivering accurate marketing analytics and insights to OgilvyOne’s clients, and the delivery and implementation of tracking for the .com properties and other digital experiences. This includes execution of analysis, management of projects and developing insight rich presentations, and the management of more junior team members.

Duties include creating tagging matrices for digital properties, evaluating success of campaign and business objectives, benchmarking, providing possible root causes and making strategic recommendations for optimization/ improvement and drawing on a variety of analytics skills. As well as test design, implementation, and strategic recommendations, and working closely with the CRM analytics, creative and strategy teams on specific clients.

Role Overview:

The Senior Analyst ill assume the following responsibilities:

  • Designs and interprets A/B and multivariate optimization tests
  • Website and campaign tracking
  • Statistical analysis of campaigns, and performance measurement with a focus on optimization
  • Client needs assessment and scoping, planning of projects and management of outputs
  • Directly responsible for all outputs (reporting, analyses, dashboards, tagging, etc)
  • Manages, scopes and plans projects with realistic goals, resources, actions and dates
  • Manages junior members of the team
  • Works closely with the CRM analytic and strategy teams, to guide work

  • 4 – 6 years of experience in marketing analytics, digital analytics preferred
  • Agency experience/ client service business preferred
  • Educational background in quantitative field
  • A Masters degree preferred

Technical Skills

  • Web Analytics Tools (Google analytics, Omniture etc)
  • Dashboarding and visualization (e.g. Tableau)
  • SAS or SPSS
  • Statistics, A/B testing, multivariate testing
