Search Analyst (6 month FTC)

A day in the life of:

The global

search strategy team works with the client across all its major brands worldwide.

A day in the life of a search team executive is challenging, but incredibly

interesting and rewarding. We have a number of brands we work with on an

ongoing basis, but new brands are coming along all the time.

The client

is completely changing its approach to search and wants to be a market leader

by 2018. This means that we have to be flexible, open to new briefs, and able

to bring the best people to the opportunities we are given. You might find

yourself writing a one pager on e-Retail search in the morning, developing a

paid search measurement framework or building a video search workshop in the

afternoon. Towards the end of the day you might join a global co-ordination

call with the search lead in Switzerland to discuss projects. You will take a

core role in ensuring that we are effectively managing the projects that come in

and that the work we produce is of the highest possible quality.

You will be

working on your own to deliver projects, as part of a team to deliver and

conceptualize new projects and co-ordinating with the Neo global network, who

also work on client search projects. There's never a dull moment!

We rely on you to:

  • Understand search in detail (Paid

search and organic search, and if possible e-Retail search)

  • Have a great understanding of how

those channels are changing and how the market is changing

  • Have a great eye for detail.
  • Be able to produce top quality

written and visualized (PowerPoint) material

  • Be able to talk and communicate

effectively with clients and agency partners

  • Be able to manage a large workload

and delegate to executives when appropriate
