Management Supervisor

Ogilvy One is looking for a Management Supervisor to join an exciting account team. We are looking for some body that can lead the day to day client interactions and is capable of operating in a fast paced high-energy environment. They will work primarily with the Digital & Social Media teams, however they will also work very closely with the Shopper and Media teams. An ideal candidate is a brand champion, an agency facilitator and opportunist who will see the opportunities to grow our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead interface with clients, creative teams, production, and consulting teams
  • Autonomous project management of multiple large projects
  • Accountability for quality assurance across all deliverables
  • Actively serves as a mentor to team members and establishes career objectives for junior team members
  • Helps integrate junior team members and educates them on their client, their target and their products
  • Develops in-depth business reporting and comprehensive competitive advertising/marketing analyses
  • Lead identification of new potential business opportunities
  • Possesses and demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the dynamics and workings of the client's business
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the overall competitive landscape
  • Demonstrates a pervasive knowledge of client and Agency operations and working knowledge of Agency matrix
  • Advocates for the business internally, and keeps the agency team informed, focused, and enthused about the work and the business
  • Understands and knows how to navigate client's political structure
  • Develops, manages and communicates changes to plans
  • Actively applies risk management tools and techniques
  • Responsible for regular recalibration of budget, as needed
  • Challenges direction, or the status quo, and seeks alternate perspectives and approaches in developing effective advertising strategies
  • Creates, writes, and presents agency POVs to client
  • Participates in focus groups, strategy development, and competitive assessment
  • Works integrally with other Agency departments to develop effective strategies, briefings and creative and strategic work
  • Collaborates with other depts. (analytics, marketing strategy, digital strategy, etc) to create marketing communications plans
  • Participates in the presentation and selling through of creative and media plans
  • Evaluates the input and ideas of creative, media and strategic planning relative to strategy and client preferences

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • Four to eight years agency experience required, in one or more disciplines
  • Very experienced in presenting information both orally and in writing
  • MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel Demonstrated capability and experience in managing subordinates
