Management Supervisor

The Management Supervisor exhibits the necessary skills of the account discipline. This person is responsible for the overall service and profitability of their account(s). This person helps represent the Agency’s senior management on a day-to-day basis. They also demonstrate the ability to use key tenets of project management: project definition, scope management, risk management, hand-off management, and team management.


  • Developing client relationship across multiple lines of business

  • Autonomous project management of multiple large projects
  • Accountability for quality assurance across all deliverables
  • Actively serves as a mentor to team members and establishes career objectives for junior team members

  • Demonstrates a pervasive knowledge of client and Agency operations and working knowledge of Agency matrix

  • Advocates for the business internally, and keeps the agency team informed, focused, and enthused about the work and the business
  • Understands and knows how to navigate client’s political structure
  • Develops, manages and communicates changes to plans
  • Actively applies risk management tools and techniques
  • Challenges direction, or the status quo, and seeks alternate perspectives and approaches in developing effective advertising strategies
  • Creates, writes, and presents agency POVs to client Participates in focus groups, strategy development, and competitive assessment
  • Works integrally with other Agency departments to develop effective strategies, briefings and creative and strategic work
  • Participates in the presentation and selling through of creative
  • Evaluates the input and ideas of creative, media and strategic planning relative to strategy and client preferences


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred Needs to exhibit strong problem solving skills
  • Needs to be attentive, detail oriented, and curious
  • Six to eight years agency experience required, in one or more disciplines
  • Very experienced in presenting information both orally and in writing
  • Demonstrated capability and experience in managing subordinates Ability to multitask
