We are looking for a Digital Strategist that can lead on strategy projects and support digital strategy across the wide range of digital projects we deliver. This person will be an integrated member of the team working closely with content, creative and technical teams and involved in the full project life cycle from pitch to final delivery with ownership of identified strategy aspects. The role of a Digital Strategist is exciting, varied, intense and

constantly evolving.

Key Responsibilities


  • Discovery and research against project objectives, including:

o User / audience needs assessments

o Understanding segmentation models

o Gap analysis

o Undertaking research: constructing surveys and conducting interviews

o Able to synthesise multiple sources of research into findings presentations

o Content audits

o Landscape analysis research and creating/presenting findings decks

o Competitive analysis research and creating/presenting findings decks

o Social media listening tools and insight generation

o Understanding search insights


  • Develop understanding of Health Behaviour change theories and models (including MINDSPACE) and how this applies to digital strategy
  • Familiarity with OHW Learning approach and models
  • Familiar with content strategy methods
  • Experience principles development (from user perspective)
  • Undertake informal SEO analysis


  • Develop audience / user personas, based on insights
  • Develop IA /site maps
  • Content audits, priorities, content KPIs
  • Develop working knowledge of AXURE to develop wireframes
  • Contribute to development of processes and guidelines for social media management
  • Creating strategy and planning for social media campaigns and corporate strategy
  • Provide guidelines for community management process and resources required
  • Collaborate with creative team/copywriters/UX team/developers as required to bring the strategic vision to life.


  • Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in strategy and social media
  • Be one of the “go to” people within the agency for the latest strategic and content strategy trends
  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives in digital and content strategy


  • Shaping and participating in new business initiatives and pitches
  • Strong presentation skills – be able to argue a point of view coherently and concisely; able to speak with authority (without seeming inflexible) and able to create impactful presentations / slide decks
  • Good understanding of 360 communications
  • Working knowledge of technology platforms and how clients manage their chosen systems
  • Communicate daily regarding project status with appropriate team members
