Client Manager


We are looking for a Client Manager to add to its team. In this full-time role based in Hong Kong, we’re looking for:


  • An individual who can manage branding projects and build sustainable client relationships with confidence
  • A strategic manager that is able to propose working approaches and deliverables that help our clients solve their branding and marketing problems
  • Commercially savvy, and keen on developing business and operational management skills.

Your primary focus will be to be the key contact of branding projects and support new business development for our local and regional clients, understanding the challenges they face and offering them sound recommendations on approach and resourcing plans:


Project Planning & Management

  • Be the key account contact and provide hands-on branding, design and operational project management on a day-to-day basis 
  • Prepare accurate and detailed briefs and status reports to align the expectations of internal and external teams 
  • Support new business development by taking briefs, planning resources, organising brainstorming sessions, collecting and consolidating pitch deliverables, preparing project plans, budgets and timelines, and presenting work to clients

Relationship Management

  • Manage client relationships in line with Superunion’s philosophies
  • Use strong commercial sense in maintaining sustainable relationships with WPP network agencies and Superunion’s other partners


Project Finance


  • Drive momentum and progress of new and on-going projects by managing resources between the client, internal teams and external partners
  • Take responsibility for regular internal reporting of project and billing statuses


Personal Management


  • Work closely with seniors to optimise operations
  • Grow junior team members through day-to-day coaching and support
  • Be demanding of high standards in critical thinking, detail, presentation and project deliverables
  • Take personal pride in work


  • Knowledge and passion in branding, design and marketing 
  • At least 3+ years of experience in client management, working as the key contact of corporate and product branding/design projects
  • An inquisitive mind that asks the right questions, and a resourcefulness to carry out the solution-building process 
  • A manager that demonstrates strong business acumen and strategic project/account planning skills
  • Creative and pro-active learner, with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work both independently and with teams
  • Excellent verbal and written Mandarin and English, as this position will require working closely with clients and colleagues in China and across the globe
