Account Supervisor, Social Media Content Strategy

Ogilvy

is calling all digital puzzle masters with interest, insight or experience in

education and B2B communications who are capable of developing and shepherding

social media content strategies. The position requires thoughtful orchestration

of paid media, creative, production and publishing. The day-to-day work demands

strong client management skills, positive energy and persistence in the face of

the constantly shifting social media landscape.

The

ideal candidate must be a brand champion, an agency facilitator, and an

opportunist that helps grow the business. In addition, she or he exhibits

strength in project management, scope management, risk management, and team

management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop documented strategies,

(plans and presentations), while understanding and managing clients as the

day-to-day client lead.

  • Guide and contribute in

the development of creative ideas and deliverables by translating strategy

and insights into effective briefs.

social landscape and stay up to date on social media trends and best practices.

  • Utilize a working

knowledge of Facebook/Instagram Ad Products.

  • Leverage your knowledge

of LinkedIn and Twitter products as well as evolving Pinterest, and

SnapChat offerings.

  • Utilize social media

research tools and help construct audience profiles.

  • Contribute to and

facilitate the analysis and reporting of results against

campaign/communication objectives.

  • Collaborate with the

teams from other departments, offices, agencies and vendors.

Requirements:

5-7 years of social media experience, prior agency experience preferred

Supervisory experience required Can work on tasks independently, and

provide direction to others Be creatively charged and passionate when working

on social projects Superior organizational skills and attention to detail

Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and

deadline-driven environment Deep knowledge of social media and digital culture

from theory to real, personal experiences Familiarity with disciplines

including: PR, content strategy, paid media, experience design Understanding

of how to develop scopes and staff plans Experience working with creative teams

on social content required BA/BS required
