Position Overview

This position covers targeted integrated marketing, multicultural marketing, media relations and partnership development to consumer and stakeholder audiences,materials development, and digital and print materials/content development for multiple government agency accounts around health issues. You will work closely with our in-house Content and Strategy teams, and will be responsible for your assigned projects and accounts while contributing as a team member within our highly collaborative group. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Researching, writing, and producing print, online,and broadcast communication campaign materials for consumer, third-party stakeholders/partners,and mass media audiences;
  • Support of digital engagement activities and their evaluation
  • Acting as a day to day liaison with campaign partners and stakeholder groups to advance outreach goals;
  • Planning and executing outreach initiatives with community leaders and other key stakeholders;
  • Managing a team to deliver media and trade relations activities for assigned accounts, including media plan development, message development, pitching and media monitoring and reporting
  • Completing assigned projects while balancing other responsibilities within the team
  • Developing communications materials in Spanish


5+ years of public relations and/or marketing experience, preferably in a public relations/marketing/communication sor government agency environment

BA/BS i npublic relations, communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field

Background in public health preferred

Strong Spanish-language skills(written and spoken)

Must be media-savvy and able to think strategically about issues and message development

Media relations experience a must

Demonstrated experience with partnership development and community outreach, including event planning experience

Proven client relations skills

Superior writing and editing skills

Strong project management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills

Proven ability to work within a fast-paced and highly collaborative team environment

Experience conducting multicultural marketing campaigns
