Account Executive

Account Executive to work on global brand account in NY. Candidate needs to exhibit strong problem solving skills, collaboration with extended team and between agency partners and be able to work independently. Candidate needs to be responsible, attentive, detail oriented, curious and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Individual needs to exhibit strong client relationships and ability to interact professionally with senior clients.

This is a 360 global account and B2B brand experience is desirable. Proficiency in digital is a must. Candidate should be eager to learn and be dedicated to advancing the quality of work from the agency, while working to keep the agency operations moving along.

  • Develops understanding of select DuPont's businesses; complexity of its value chain and importance of pulling DuPont brand through to end users
  • Builds expertise on a brand's competitive landscape and product differentiators
  • Capable of writing simple creative briefs and POV's with supervision
  • Oversees plan development, execution and follow-up (contributes, where appropriate)
  • Ability to multi-task across businesses and projects
  • Participates in /has exposure to development of client marketing strategy

  • Ability to start tactical creative briefs and articulate the project initiative and timeline to internal teams
  • Documented, rigorous scope tracking and scope creep identification
  • Owns and manages finances with internal teams and client partners
  • Ability to run smaller projects with minimal oversight from manager
  • Monitors critical project hand-offs
  • Initiates, presents, and drives to completion value-added projects (participation dependent on level of complexity)
  • Understands the implications of business strategy on project decisions
  • Responsible for weekly/monthly project status reports
  • Sets up meetings, includes the correct people including agency partners, and provides accurate agendas and precise, actionable meeting notes


  • Understanding of and passion for a career in advertising
  • 2 – 4 years relevant work experience in related field (2 year minimum at traditional advertising or marketing agency)
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple client deliverables/timelines
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and well with a team
  • Understanding of the financial management process
