Account Executive

Account Executive to work on large financial account in NY. Candidate needs to exhibit strong problem solving skills, collaboration with extended team and between agency partners and be able to work independently. Candidate needs to be responsible, attentive, detail oriented, curious and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Individual needs to exhibit strong client relationships and ability to interact professionally with senior clients.

Proficiency in digital, and digital production is a must. Candidate should be eager to learn and be dedicated to advancing the quality of work from the agency, while working to keep agency operations moving along. Candidates who are “intellectually curious” – always looking to learn, question, pursue knowledge, and welcome change will thrive working on this complex, dynamic business.


  • Develops understanding of select client businesses; complexity of its value chain and importance of pulling brand through to end users
  • Work many production projects at a time
  • Builds expertise on a brand’s competitive landscape and product differentiators
  • Capable of writing simple creative briefs and POV’s with supervision
  • Develops media briefs and oversees plan development, execution and follow-up (contributes, where appropriate)
  • Ability to multi-task across businesses and projects
  • Participates in /has exposure to development of client marketing strategy
  • Establishes core relationships with junior clients
  • Knows when to escalate potential problems
  • Develops key creative relationships
  • Evaluates creative work and provides feedback for revisions, as needed
  • Create detailed timelines from the beginning of a project through the end
  • Ability to start tactical creative briefs and articulate the project initiative and timeline to internal teams
  • Ability to run smaller projects with minimal oversight from manager
  • Monitors critical project hand-off
  • Understands the implications of business strategy on project decisions
  • Sets up meetings, includes the correct people including agency partners, and provides accurate agendas and precise, actionable meeting notes


  • Understanding of and passion for a career in marketing communications
  • 1– 3 years relevant work experience in related field (2 year minimum at an advertising or marketing agency)
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple client deliverables/timelines
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and well with a team
