Our Digital Senior Account Director will need to be an excellent collaborator and will need to develop new business opportunities and manage a number of key client accounts autonomously, or as part of a wider integrated team partnering with Advertising, MedEd, or PR across Ogilvy Healthworld. Clients include AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson and Boehringer Ingelheim, working across a number of therapy areas. Any interest / experience within elearning and developing social communities would be helpful.

You will need to be the senior digital lead at the client table developing opportunities and shaping innovative digital solutions. We have many ground-breaking projects and you will need to steer and co-ordinate accounts that often encompass multiple workstreams, and multiple disciplines within both digital and other sections of the business. As a senior lead you will act as a point of contact/escalation in relation to all digital projects on your accounts, however you may need to work into other account leads as part of an integrated team. You will report into a Digital Business Director who will be responsible for supporting your career development.

Solid skills and experience in agency account management are a must – directing projects, pushing opportunities and managing clients expectations, often liaising with a variety of client leads - sales and medical leads, brand managers and IT teams. You will have a solid understanding of strategic approaches, the creative process, UX, design and technology delivery - as well as the people skills to foster a team culture. In addition you must have the skills and experience to manage and mentor other more junior staff, and take an active leadership role on all projects within your designated accounts.

As a pivotal member of the digital client services team, you will be responsible for accurate billing and forecasting and for successful financial management. You are also responsible for ensuring our solutions meet client quality expectations, timings, budget and KPI's.

As a strong presenter you will be experienced in working on and leading pitch teams and presenting engaging and compelling ideas and solutions to clients. You will enjoy developing client relationships and building networks within a client organisation, whilst respecting other agency department relationships.

Given the nature of our clients, the size of our agency and breadth of offering we are looking for previous experience working in large, preferably healthcare (or allied), agencies for major brands/products. We need people who can solve problems creatively and make things happen – and when things are not going to plan can keep cool and coordinate the right senior support in to resolve issues.
