360 - Senior Account Executive - Advertising

Ogilvy CommonHealth are looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive to join their London team.

The Role & Responsibilities

Demonstrates a pro-active approach to account management

Manages and drives projects to quality standards, timelines and budget under direction from account manager/director. Planning ahead to ensure resource and capabilities are available to deliver to deadline

Proactively updates Account Director regularly on progress and any changes to projects

Able to lead and deliver multiple small/medium sized projects independently

Manages own time well by establishing priorities and anticipating problems in order to meet deadlines

Is ready to accept responsibility and extra work

Able to identify issues within the team and apply a problem solving approach to resolve issues

Shares knowledge, information and ideas with team members

Independently develop project timelines, updating on a regular basis and alerting account director to any change in delivery

Responsibility for the timely, effective and efficient organisation and administration of projects

Ensure up to date knowledge of status of account at all times

Track freelancer time on projects to ensure that time logged is in accordance with agreed budgets and time allocation for jobs, and flag any discrepancies to team in timely manner

Work with senior team to manage freelancer relationship. Ensuring prompt responses, booking in time and sufficient notice if work is cancelled

Maintain regular client contact

Proactive in interaction with clients

Ensure a speedy response from team to client requests

Take a more active role in client meetings to present proposals. Demonstrates advanced listening and multi-tasking skills.

Ensures all team members are informed on any client discussions/queries

Demonstrated ability to manage difficult internal discussions

Build a strong presence in the internal team

Quick and accurate communications developed with minimal input from team members

Knows the right questions to ask and isn’t afraid to ask them

Presents confidently, clearly and concisely

Participates in presentations to client where appropriate

Deep knowledge of brand data, able to quickly identify key papers and recognise key clinical data

Able to pick up content errors when reviewing work

Thorough understanding of brand, the market environment, (key clinical studies) and marketing strategy.

Ensure an understanding of the current company client personnel and current issues, relating to therapy area and product(s)

Undertake ‘market intelligence’ to monitor issues/external environment to aid regular review of brand strategy

Facilitates programme planning brainstorming meetings, ensuring that all relevant parties are consulted

Demonstrate innovation and creativity beyond client ideas in brainstorm session.

Works closely with creative and studio team to ensure work goes above and beyond the brief

Prepare innovative project proposals in collaboration with Account Director

Facilitate solutions to potential resourcing/workflow issues

Accurate review print items for content, layout and print
