Technical Recruiter

Odyssey Information Services is currently looking to hire a Technical Recruiter to join our expanding team in Plano, TX in support of our industry's rapidly changing short and long term initiatives and staffing requirements for our clients.  

The Technical Recruiter's primary duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Pipelining of candidates for specific client requirements
  • Sourcing, screening, and recruiting candidates via online job boards, career fairs, internal database, and networking events
  • Supporting Business Development Managers/Account Managers directly for fulfillment of active client requirements for temporary or permanent staff
  • Formatting resumes for client review
  • Performing candidate interviews and technical screening
  • Continuously building rapport with placed candidates 

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree (highly preferred) 
  • Experience in recruiting, staffing agency experience (highly preferred)
  • Experience with VMS (Vendor Management Systems) (preferred)
  • Candidate must be self-motivated with a history of exceeding high performance standards
  • Excellent follow up, telephone, and organizational skills
  • Strong internet search and research skills, Microsoft Office, online job board experience, and Boolean searching proficiency and experience are required
  • Clear and strong communication skills, a desire for professional growth and enhancement are preferred
  • Full knowledge of how to use and navigate job boards, to include resume search and posting capability
