Vice President, Growth
Odyssey is on a mission to flip the traditional top-down editorial model on its head in order to capture great, authentic stories and distribute them widely through organic sharing. With 12,000 content creators serving 1100+ local communities and a whopping 30 million unique visitors, we can safely say it’s working. But we’ve just started and that’s where you come in.
On the back of our $25 million raised in capital investment in April, we're looking to expand our footprint and take our audience growth to the next level. We are looking for a ninja growth marketer to supercharge our growth. We want someone who is hungry, driven, fearlessly creative and innovative. We want someone who loves pushing boundaries and trying new things. Someone who fails fast. Someone addicted to growth.
As the VP, Growth Hacking, you will be responsible for growing our audience and increasing engagement and retention by optimizing all our owned channels. Reporting directly to the CEO, Evan Burns, you will oversee all growth efforts and optimization for our web and mobile sites, mobile apps, social sharing functionality and social channels, email lists, mobile notifications and more.
You will need to develop a deep understanding of the Odyssey creator and user, use your insight and intuition to develop and execute tests and understand and articulate how programs affect organic growth.
