We are currently seeking a Cloud Security Senior Manager to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).

Job Description

The Security Advisor - Cloud Security will serve as a Consulting Advisor to NTTD Clients. A successful candidate will possess a firm understanding of cloud security technologies and respective native security controls including both Azure/Microsoft 365 Security and AWS and will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to partner with client business leaders and technology experts at all levels of the client organization.

This individual will have an active role operating as a security Advisor working directly with NTT account managers and clients including as a project lead and will work in a cross departmental manner.

Additional responsibilities include leading presales workshop and scoping activities, architecting Cloud security solution designs as well as holding client discussions related to emerging security risks, technologies, and systems.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Deliver Cloud Security Consulting Services in respect to various industry leading Cloud Solutions including but not limited to Azure/Microsoft 365 Security and AWS.
  • Lead Cloud security assessments for assessment of moderate to large sized organizations:
    • Assess existing Cloud environments against Cloud Security requirements related to industry leading frameworks including: NIST, CSA, ISO, etc.
    • Conduct document reviews and interviews against compliance requirements and best-practices
    • Develop both strategic and tactical recommendations for remediating risk and gaps
    • Write deliverable reports
    • Maintain report templates
    • Develop or augment Cloud Security Architectures
    • Develop detailed Cloud Security strategy and architecture documents for clients
    • Develop governance artifacts for clients including policies and procedures as well as configuration standards for various Cloud technologies
    • Identify and develop criteria for the operationalization of Cloud MSP support
  • Participate in pre-sales tasks and perform ongoing support of delivery collateral.
  • Execute technical management tasks in respect to ongoing client projects.
  • Maintain a working knowledge regarding industry leading security frameworks.
  • Partner with internal project teams to ensure their understanding of project goals and client expectations.
  • Develop technical documentation including architectural Cloud Security designs as well as data flow and network connectivity diagrams.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years related work experience in information security native security controls related to Cloud platforms, specifically Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS
  • 3+ years of Consulting experience delivering GRC solutions in moderate to large size organizations is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in assessing and architecting Hybrid and Multi-Cloud security solutions based on Azure/ Microsoft 365 Security and AWS.
    • 3+ years of experience assessing or implementing compliance with industry leading Cloud security frameworks.
    • Microsoft and/or AWS Cloud Certifications


Preferred:
  • Experience developing and customizing security assessment methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience performing pre-sales activities in a professional services environment is preferred.
  • Experience in assessing security requirements in relation to business drivers for multiple industry verticals is preferred.
  • Azure and/or AWS certification preferred.
  • Hands on technical background with infrastructure technologies and operating systems preferred.
  • Technical writing experience is preferred.
  • Vulnerability scanning/pen testing and application penetration testing experience is a plus.
  • Versatility - able to quickly adapt to new technologies and client environments
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills
  • Strong public-speaking skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to very short timelines
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, Excellent written English
  • Ability to work independently as needed yet always thinking as part of a team
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word


Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $130,000- $200,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
