PK Sciences (PKS) is a global organization of about 300 associates, situated within Translational Medicine (TM), in NIBR. PK Science is an enterprise organization, working across both NIBR and the Global Drug Development (GDD) organizations to advance the scientific knowledge of pharmacokinetics, metabolism and clinical pharmacology.

In the role of Senior Scientist, PKS China (based in Shanghai) you will contribute to clinical study protocols, reports and project summaries as directed and within agreed timeframes which meet regulatory requirements. Support Clinical pharmacology strategy of the projects and work closely with TA- and appropriate line functions.

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Analyze PKS related data generated during early and full development and present results in a clear and concise manner.
•Provide summary information (written and oral) as requested for assigned projects.
•Utilize appropriate software tools (as per the company procedures) for data generation and document management
•Independently perform/is responsible for all technical procedures necessary to implement protocols and to conduct studies.
•Designs standard studies/projects/experiments independently, if applicable.
•Oversee studies and assigns specific project parts to subordinates, establishes tar-get dates and priorities, if applicable
•Provides data processing, evaluates results, interprets data, and draws relevant conclusions, if applicable. Writes formal study reports and effectively communicates results
•Assists and/or prepares study protocols, reports; contributes to summary documents for his/her area, e.g.NDAs and INDs with guidance.
•Contributes to internal/external presentations/publications.
•Reviews basic literature.

Minimum Requirements

What you'll bring to the role:
•PhD or Master's in pharmacology/physiology, biochemistry, chemistry, pharmacokinetics/pharmaceutical sciences, or related sciences
•1-2 years of experience in drug development or a relevant environment (e.g. Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics).
•Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken)
•Knowledge of drug development or relevant experience in a PK sciences environment is highly desirable
•Demonstrated success of working in a matrix environment and with cross functional project teams (preferably global)
•Familiarity with standard ADME/PK modelling tools such as Phoenix, GastroPlus, etc.
•Excellent written and oral communication and negotiation skills
