Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking an Windows Applications Engineer + 3/4 who will support several projects a large federal agency. These positions will be located in Woodlawn, MD.

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health Systems Management operating unit, which focuses on Healthcare IT solutions for our Federal, State, and Local government clients. The qualified candidate should also have strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.

Description of Work:

  • Provide Design, Development and Engineering support to Microsoft Software Applications
  • Develop Windows 10 scripts
  • Support SCCM Packaging and deployment
  • Support MS Exchange and Messaging
  • Administer/Support MS SharePoint
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Support Microsoft Office deployments/version migrations
  • Support Configuration Manager
  • Support Active Directory
  • Support/Maintain Windows 2008/2012/2016 Servers
  • Support/Maintain Windows 7/10 deployments and images
  • Familiar with MS PowerShell coding
This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below. This requisition may be filled at either a Level 3 or a Level 4.

Basic Qualifications for an Engineer Software 3:


Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed.
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relative experience or Master's degree and 3 years of relative experience.
  • Must have 3 years of experience in one of the following:
    • Software Support Engineer
    • SharePoint Administrator
    • Windows Scripting Analyst
    • Messaging Engineer
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Must be a US citizen or green card holder.
Basic Qualifications for an Engineer Software 4:



Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed.
  • Bachelor's degree and 9 years of relative experience or Master's degree and 7 years of relative experience.
  • Must have 6 years of experience in one of the following:
    • Software Support Engineer
    • SharePoint Administrator
    • Windows Scripting Analyst
    • Messaging Engineer
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Must be a US citizen or green card holder.
Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.
  • Prior SSA Experience
