Warehousing Journeyman 3

Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems is seeking an experienced Warehousing Journeyman 3 to support the Sustainment and Modernization of Radar Sensors (SMORS) program. This position is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Performs a combination of manual and clerical duties to receive, store, issue, and ship equipment, materials, and supplies in a central warehouse. Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications and invoices; stores articles according to identifying factors; fills orders or issues supplies from stock; requisitions stock to fill incoming orders; conducts periodic inventories; and prepares stock use reports. Determines methods or places for storage considering guidelines for temperature, humidity, weight or height limits, turnover, floor loading capacity, and required space. Packages, prepares shipping documents, and arranges transportation equipment, material, and supplies for shipment.

MSCOMSTR
Basic Qualifications:

  • High School and 4 years of relevant experience or AA degree with 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing a minimum of 35 lbs.
  • Able to change physical locations based upon need; operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties and climb ladders
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience shipping and receiving equipment and materials.
  • Working knowledge of EAR, ITAR and export control.
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Able to understand and execute on sequence of operations or action to be taken
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with GOLD and SAP preferable.
  • Prior stockroom experience.
  • Able to collaborate in a team environment
