USFK J6 Resource Management Analyst - Seoul, South Korea

Position will provides support to the United States Forces Korea (USFK) J6 in the development, refinement, and optimization of the unit's long-range capital plan. Provides administrative financial support for the USFK J6 resource management office to include supporting ad-hoc requirements, facilitating purchases/procurements, and developing information papers. Integrates capital expenses and expenditures into the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) for the future year defense program. Cross-collaborates with other departments to include the CIO office, Program/Project Management Office, Engineering Office, and others to advise and support financing strategies for current and future initiatives. Maintains situational awareness of theater C4 initiatives through constant communication with multiple echelons and external stakeholders. Acts as the primary subject matter expert and principle advisor to the USFK staff on the Information Interoperability Architecture (IIA) and the Republic of Korea Expense Share Program. Identifies all expenses subject to ROK and US expense-sharing for inclusion into the ROK Expense Share bill. Coordinates and facilitates meetings between US and ROK counterparts on issues surrounding the ROK Expense Share Program.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS Degree
  • 2 years experience with resource management principles and techniques
  • 2 years experience with US Military operations and functions
  • US citizenship
  • Secret clearance

Experience with USFK Resource Management functions
