User Applications Liaison 2/3

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for User Application Liaisons at a Level 2 or Level 3.

The Engineering Environment Development & Support (EEDS) team provides coast to coast engineering and tool support to the Mission Systems Sector engineering and manufacturing organizations. We are seeking candidates to expand our operations staff due to growth in MS business, tools and our user base to assist with license management.

The successful candidate needs demonstrated strong analytical skills combined with service oriented communications skills and attention to detail and follow through. The role will provide exposure to sector wide business areas, technologies and users along with interface with engineering application vendors and internal application engineers. The role requires regular interface with the Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Business Management organizations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and track engineering tool license usage
  • Investigate usage trends and assist in forecasting
  • Develop written justification for additional product acquisition
  • Submit and manage quotes for new purchases and renewals

This position may be filled at a higher grade based on the qualifications listed below.

This requisition may be filled at a Level 2 or a Level 3.

Basic Qualifications for a Level 2:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of experience, 1 with an MS Degree (in lieu of a BS Degree, 5 years of experience with an Associate's Degree will be considered.).
  • Experience using software tools
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities
  • Time management skills and ability to ensure completion of tasks within schedule deadlines
  • Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Clearance.

  • Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience, 4 with an MS Degree (in lieu of a BS Degree, 9 years of experience with an Associate's Degree will be considered).
  • Experience using software tools
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities
  • Time management skills and ability to ensure completion of tasks within schedule deadlines
  • Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience on large and small scale programs and business development activities
  • Understanding of CAD/CAM tools.
  • Knowledge of the engineering development life cycle and design/development tools
  • Experience communicating with customers, other technical teams, and senior management to report status, proactively identify and resolve issues, collect and refine requirements
  • Experience with government accounting compliance
  • Experience in interpreting and maintaining compliance with vendor user agreements
