Northrop Grumman seeks an experienced University Recruiter to foster and develop strategic relationships with assigned universities and hire the top students for our Aerospace Systems sector. This is an opportunity to join an amazing University Relations & Recruiting (UR&R) team that is dedicated to driving innovation and building the best workforce for the future for Northrop Grumman. Responsibilities include consulting with hiring teams to build strategic hiring plans, sourcing top talent from our core Universities, executing campus recruiting events, screening and presenting high-potential candidates to hiring teams, coordination of campus interviews, present offers of employment and ensure a seamless onboarding and acclimation of talent across the Aerospace Systems sector.

Scope and Responsibilities:

Consult with UR&R leaders and internal hiring customers to develop detailed recruiting plans.
Assist in development of strategy and conduct targeted searches to identify top talent at small to mid-sized Enterprise and Sector Universities.
Lead campus recruiting teams to ensure fulfillment of hiring targets at assigned Universities.
Work with small to mid-sized functions to achieve hiring targets.
Coordinate campus job postings, generate social media content and contribute to a wide range of branding initiatives.
Conduct candidate screening for Engineering and Business roles.
Coordinate and schedule campus and on-site interviews.
Prepare, present and close offers of employment.
Update candidate activity in applicant tracking system to ensure data integrity.
Assist in the development and analysis of metrics.
Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements that drive operational excellence.
Act as an advisor to local senior management and customers as it relates to the new employee experience.
Assist with projects and help ensure outcomes are aligned with organizational objectives.
Partner with teammates across the country to optimize the sector and/or enterprise level new employee experience.
Assist with the planning and execution of Intern Program events.
Source and recruit for other entry level needs as they arise.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business or related field of study.
3 years of experience (1 year with a Master's degree) in recruiting, human resources and/or organizational effectiveness.
Ability to consult with all levels of internal and external customers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office products.
Basic project management skills.
Comfortable presenting and facilitating in front of large groups.
Must be able to travel up to 20% during busy season (fall)
Must be able to work evening campus events

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business or related field of study.
2 or more years of previous university recruiting experience.
Ability to manage competing demands, adapt to changing business requirements and proactively seek constructive feedback.
High energy level with the determination to persist even when faced with challenges.
Ability to function independently in a high-volume fast paced environment.
Demonstrate solid judgment, the ability to quickly learn systems, processes and procedures Embraces technology to build more efficient processes.
Knowledge of adult learning methods and facilitation and delivery of material.
Strong relationship building skills.
Self-motivated and results-oriented.
Flexible and embraces change.
