Northrop Grumman Technology Services at Hill AFB is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to manage our Trainers & Test Engineering Section within the Electrical Engineering Department.

The qualified candidate will lead a diverse team of engineers performing project development, technical requirements review, system support, planning and sustainment for a diverse set of products in the missile, air and space domains. Manager will be responsible for the strategic implementation of skills and labor mix; employee development; mentoring; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures. This person often interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant technical matters requiring coordination between organizations to ensure successful task completion and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities also include horizontal integration of best practices across the organization; maintaining cognizance over technical activities; and ensuring execution of project statement of work and baselines.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering or other related technical field
  • 5 years of related engineering experience
  • U.S. Citizen able to obtain a Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 3 years of direct experience in ICBM or closely related missile programs
  • Excellent communication, analysis and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Proven experience with supervision and leadership of a diverse team
  • Demonstrated Northrop Grumman cross-division and cross-sector collaboration experience
  • Verified adherence to Northrop Grumman Values
