The Advanced Concepts and Technologies (AC&T) group of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an exceptionally talented, motivated, and creative Test Software Development Engineer for our Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) located outside of Baltimore, Maryland - where we design, manufacture, and test semiconductor products for internal and
commercial production customers as well as emerging technology programs.

responsible for all aspects of semiconductor technology including design, mask making, wafer fabrication, test, and assembly.

The Test Software Development Engineer will develop RF MMIC and SOC test software for multiple technologies including GaAs/GaN/SiGe. The Test Engineer will be responsible for understanding the test requirements, documenting the test plan, and developing the software and hardware solution necessary. Administrative and technical responsibility includes test software and hardware development, ensuring test data integrity, equipment/software improvements, and supporting the procurement of both expense and capital test equipment.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring configuration control of test software and hardware, test quality, test documentation quality, test equipment calibration, and compliance to customer documents (e.g. Source
Control Documents). Excellent verbal and written communication skills also required.

This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

Basic Qualifications for Test Software Development Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 yrs test software development experience (0 years with an MS)
- Software programming experience is absolutely required
- Support a develop environment where other engineers can independently develop test software
- Experience with C# in the Microsoft Visual Studio Environment
- Experience using source control tools such as GIT
- Familiar with GPIB, USB and LAN interface to equipment
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance (US citizenship required)



Basic Qualifications for Principal Test Software Development Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with at least5 yrs test software development experience (3 years with an MS and 0 years with a PhD)
- Software programming experience is absolutely required
- Support a develop environment where other engineers can independently develop test software
- Experience with C# in the Microsoft Visual Studio Environment
- Experience using source control tools such as GIT
- Familiar with GPIB, USB and LAN interface to equipment
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance (US citizenship required)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Semiconductor testing experience - MMIC wafer level RF test, SOC RF and functional/SCAN/Memory BIST pattern
testing, test board design and layout
- Familiar with setting up Web Services
- Familiar with SQL
- Strong understanding of semiconductor technology and microelectronic manufacturing test methodologies.
