Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a TEST ENGINEERS FOR ALL LEVELS in the Engineering, Manufacturing & Sciences (EM&S) Central Region Engineering. In the Mission Systems sector, you'll join our experts in developing systems and solutions that keep our world safe. The qualified applicant will work in our Huntsville, Alabama office, headquarters for the Missile Defense and Protective Systems (MDPS) division.

Perform test planning, monitoring and test execution activities for program software.
Devise the test objectives, organization test policies, test strategies and test plans.
Estimate the testing to be done and acquire necessary resources.
Schedule the test for execution and then will monitor, measure, control and report on the test progress, the product quality status and the test results, adapting the test plan and compensating as needed to adjust to evolving conditions.

Basic Qualifications:
2-10 Years of experience with a Bachelors in Science in an Engineering field
Experience required with UNIX, Linux and Windows operating systems
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance required
Able to work in a technical team environment characterized by frequently changing tasks, new priorities and quick responses
Experience creating and documenting test plans/procedures, analyzing results and creating reports

Preferred Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance
Testing SW for performance and functionality based on requirement specification and ability to identify and document exact sequence of activities desired
Experience in a test lead role Experience in a CMMI Level 5 organization
Experience with automated testing
Able to work in a technical team environment characterized by frequently changing tasks, new priorities and quick responses
