Test Design Engineering Project Manager - Principal / Sr. Principal

    • Baltimore, MD

The Test Design Engineering (TDE) organization at Northrop Grumman is responsible for designing, producing, and automating a broad range of advanced test capabilities to support Northrop Grumman's unique mission needs. The products designed by TDE can be anything from test sets and interface fixtures, to system labs, and more recently, robotically automated test environments for high throughput testing.

As a Test Project Manager (TPM) in TDE, you will lead and work directly with multidisciplinary teams consisting of electrical, mechanical, systems, and software engineers, through the entire product lifecycle from requirements, design, manufacturing, integration, and product selloff. The TPM plays an important role as the bridge between TDE's engineering execution of test systems and bottom line business, providing project status to the Program Management Office (PMO). The TPM manages project finances, schedule, progress, risk and scope to plan and execute within cost and schedule constraints.
