Test Conductor 4
The HALE Programs Ground Segment Operations Team within the Palmdale Aircraft Integration Center of Excellence (PAICoE) is looking for passionate and dedicated Test Conductor to join our team. Successful candidates will be detail originated, process driven and have a true uncompromising love for aerospace. This position requires familiarity with security, quality, project management and Ground Segment operations.
-Overall responsibility for Ground Segment physical and system security posture. Helps to define, document, standardize, implement and verify security processes across all programs.
-Oversees operational and system security aspects for all cross program test equipment and works with lead engineers to help prioritize and direct the tasking for system administrators.
-Property Management lead for Ground Segment equipment and works with lead engineers and system administrators to define, document, implement and verify an efficient tracking system.
-Works in conjunction with lead engineers to ensure engineering tests serve mission objectives and mechanisms are in place to execute the tests.
-Develop and publish Site 7 Facilities Requirements Document (FRD) for the Ground Segments. This task will require an in depth knowledge of Ground Segment operational CONOPS, security requirements, data and infrastructure. Employee must attend frequent meetings with designers and architects and conduct stakeholder review meetings.
-Coordinate relocation of all program Ground Segments from Site 3 to Site 7. Task will require development and execution of an inchstone schedule. Frequent reports will be created to document project status.
-Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer and supplier contacts. Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
-Must be able to work under only general direction to determine and develop approaches to solutions; must be able to work both within a team environment and independently; must be self-motivated, thorough, and detailed; and must be willing to learn additional engineering discipline areas and take on new assignments.
-Willing to work additional assignments beyond the defined requirements of this position.
Responsible to ensure engineering tests serve mission objectives and mechanisms are in place to execute the tests. Responsible for testing all customer samples. Oversees the operational aspects of engineering tests and serves as liaison to program, engineering and line management. Reviews status of test requirements, manages schedules and prepares reports. Selects and supervises technicians during test. Assesses anomalies and develops resolutions to documented procedures in conjunction with Test and Quality Engineering.
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
9years related experience in flight or ground operations, security or systems engineering
DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years
Flexibility to work additional flight assignments beyond the defined requirements of this position.
In depth knowledge of physical and systems security and familiarity with Palmdale security team.
Outstanding written and oral communications skills
