Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Test Conductor to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in San Diego, CA.

The selected candidate will be responsible to ensure engineering tests serve mission objectives and mechanisms are in place to execute the tests.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for testing customer samples and overseeing the operational aspects of engineering tests.
  • Serves as liaison to program, engineering and line management.
  • Reviews status of test requirements, manages schedules and prepares reports.
  • Selects and supervises technicians during test.
  • Assesses anomalies and develops resolutions to documented procedures in conjunction with Test and Quality Engineering.
  • General frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks.
  • Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of increasing scope and complexity as assigned
  • Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's degree with0 years of experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with2 years of engineering experience; OR an Associate's degree with2 years of engineering experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED with6 years of engineering experience is required.
  • An active in-scope DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree
  • Experience working in a lab environment and bench management experience
  • Aerospace Experience
  • Familiarity with UCAS or UCLASS Environment.
  • Excellent 2-way communication skills (upward and downward)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
  • Active, In scope DoD Top Secret or SCI clearance
