Northrop Grumman Technology Services Sector is seeking Test Conductors for the Weapons System Support Center (WSSC) – a SW laboratory supporting the B-2 aircraft. Duties will include: configure, control & operate computer based simulations of aircraft / avionics in support of SW development & testing; conduct technical planning, system integration, verification and validation of new & existing lab systems and SW builds; research applicable technologies for application to the B-2 laboratory test lines, propose system upgrades to meet emerging requirements; supervise repair and maintenance of laboratory systems. The ideal candidate will possess a good overall understanding of military aircraft avionics, MIL STD busses, and Aircraft HW & SW architecture.
- Must be able to obtain a DoD secret security clearance and B-2 special program access.
- 2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters. In lieu of formal education, 6 years of relevant experience may be considered.
- The ideal candidate will possess a good overall understanding of military aircraft avionics, MIL STD busses, and Aircraft HW & SW architecture.
- Prior professional and/or practical experience in the design, operation, repair, or maintenance of avionics & aircraft electrical systems is strongly desired.
- Experience using and testing MIL-STD 1553 protocol is a plus.
