The Palmdale Lab Operations, Engineering and Test Department is looking for passionate and dedicated test conductor to join our team.. This position requires an individual who is detail originated, process driven and has a true uncompromising love for aerospace. This position requires a person with a background in procurement, CM, quality as there maybe needs to support other areas within the Lab. This position will require occasionally work shift work and overtime.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability
Complete understanding and wide application of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines.

Problem Solving
Provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.

Discretion/Latitude
Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.

Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects. Failure to obtain results or erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources.

Liaison
Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.

Responsible to ensure engineering tests serve mission objectives and mechanisms are in place to execute the tests. Responsible for testing all customer samples. Oversees the operational aspects of engineering tests and serves as liaison to program, engineering and line management. Reviews status of test requirements, manages schedules and prepares reports. Selects and supervises technicians during test. Assesses anomalies and develops resolutions to documented procedures in conjunction with Test and Quality Engineering.
Basic Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years related experience in lab environment , security or systems engineering
DoD Top Secret Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years

Preferred Qualifications:

2 Years with Bachelors in Science STEM; 0 Years with Masters
