This staff trainer is responsible for specialized tasks in technical writing, technical training and instructional design/development. Working for the training manager, the selected candidate will work with the technical teams to develop operational procedures and related materials and/or web-based training modules for technical users that result in a work force more capable of producing quality products for our customers.
Collaborate with work center (WC) management and subject matter experts to determine need for procedures and create training plans
Create, develop, plan, write and/or edit operational and/or instructional procedures
Plan, design and implement web-based training modules
Coordinate with Training Manager to implement training modules in learning management system (LMS) to assign/track new training
Conduct training classes as needed or work with existing trainers to improve delivery of material
Minimum Education / Experience: 2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters. Additional related work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
Display strong interpersonal skills (both oral and written)
Experience with SCORM package development software
Experience in developing and delivering training
Knowledgeable in techniques and frameworks for evaluating training effectiveness
Experience working in a Learning Management System
Skilled at using Excel, Power Point and Outlook
Two years' experience in training administration
Prior experience in technical manufacturing environment
Skilled in creating engaging and effective training experiences
