Technical Editor and Writer

Writes, edits, formatstechnical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals,specifications and reports. Understands ISO processes to ensure documentation meets requirement. Assembles information and writes status reports. Assembles information from various groups and creates technical presentations.Organizes post flight documentation. Organizes and maintains flight status information. Acquires subject knowledge by interviewing product developers, observing performance of production methods, referring to technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, and trade journals. Oversees preparation of illustrative materials, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams and charts. Conducts quality review of materials.

Preferred Qualifications:
BS degree with an additional 3 years of technical writing experience, and or 8 years of technical writingexperience maybe considered in lieu of the degree
