Technical Editor and Writer 2 (TS/SCI)

Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Technical Editor and Writer 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Chantilly, VA. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's FBI program.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Will provide technical expertise and services in support of all Contractor tasks and deliverables.
Will write and/or edit technical documents to include reports, user manuals, briefings, presentations, functional descriptions, system specifications, guidelines, special reports, and other project deliverables to meet contract requirements.
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline with 3 years of relevant experience. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Superior writing skills. Proficient at writing and/or editing technical documents to include reports, user manuals, briefings, presentations, functional descriptions, system specifications, guidelines, special reports, and other project deliverables to meet contract requirements.
Able to prepare and present reports to the Government.
Ability to develop outlines and drafts for review and approval by Information Technology Specialists and government leadership ensuring that formal documents meet applicable contract requirements and regulations.
Skilled at researching and gathering technical and background information for inclusion in project documentation and deliverables.
Ability to consult relevant information sources to include library resources, technical and financial documents, and client and project personnel to obtain background information, and to verify pertinent guidelines and regulations governing project deliverables.
Ability to interact with technical staff.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and deadline-driven environment.
Must be able to provide leadership on group projects with a heavy or central writing focus.
Capable of working independently to prepare system documentation and users manuals in accordance with government documentation development standards.
Must have a current, active Top Secret/SCI.
