Tax and Cost Estimating Analyst 2

Northrop Grumman's Global Mobility Office (GMO) is seeking a Global Mobility Tax and Estimating Analyst to assist with expatriate taxes and develop estimates for all company work assignments. The GMO works in conjunction with sectors, programs, and key functional areas to ensure compliance with legal and tax requirements and mitigate the risk of conducting business worldwide through education and partnership.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with professional service partners and interact with assignees to provide expatriate tax compliance, consulting, and planning
  • Assist with administration of tax equalization policies and procedures
  • Coordinate pre and post-departure assignee briefings and policy interpretation
  • Provide support for tax-related issues by researching matters and assisting with problem resolution
  • Interface with sector capture teams and programs to gather data necessary to prepare assignment estimates in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, Northrop Grumman policies and department instructions
  • Collaborate with the larger GMO team and other internal stakeholders to apply country-specific knowledge concerning immigration, host country labor law, and tax requirements to the estimating task
  • Prepare Cost Estimating Worksheets and Qualitative Guidance documentation in response to requests and in accordance with department instructions
  • Contribute to the improvement of estimating tools and processes, as well as provide support to special research and analyses in support of Company and GMO strategic goals and compliance initiatives

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years' of relevant experience in one of the following disciplines (or combination thereof): accounting, finance, pricing, program control, or consulting focused on providing business strategies, competitive intelligence, or market research
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
    • Excel - creating and editing spreadsheets
    • Word - proposal package guidance, policies, and procedures
    • PowerPoint - developing effective presentations

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exposure to the proposals process, pricing, and financial management of operational programs
  • Strong interest in Accounting and Tax
  • Interest in contributing to the growth of Northrop Grumman's global business base
  • Adept at complex Microsoft Excel functions
  • Familiarity with global mobility concepts and international assignments
